Description

Leading E-commerce and Internet Applications firm is hiring immediately for a talented Website Designer to join our creative team. Start now and work in a relaxed, non-stuffy and nurturing environment at an established company with nationwide clientele in it's 11th year and that has grown at least 40% for each of the past 6-years!

This position's duties include helping to conceptualize, plan, design and produce compelling interfaces for complex Websites, E-commerce, Rich Internet Applications and other interactive projects, while working closely with other designers to brainstorm and bring ideas to life.

Important: Qualified candidates will be expected to present their portfolios in person or online to qualify.

Must be able to:

Conceptualize, plan and present design composites
Manage and continue to develop core design concepts
Improve and perfect usability
Plan, estimate and meet design production deadlines

Essential Skills

CSS (hand written/non-WYSIWYG produced)
HTML/XHTML (hand written/non-WYSIWYG produced)
Photoshop
Understanding of differences in various Web browsers and platforms
Understanding of and ability to adapt to constantly-changing trends on the Web
Experience (professional or not) in usability and interaction design (UI and UX design)

Bonus Skills

Experience with brand, identity and style guidelines
Illustrator
Flash
Flex and AS3
QA, testing, and/or A-B testing experience
